There has been loads of excellent data coming out lately, so good that I have even printed out a few to carry with me as I travel. These white papers are so stinking useful, I want the physical copy in hand to refer to while composing tweets, Facebook posts, and working on campaigns. Here’s the three I cannot live without:

1. Buddy Media’s Strategies For Effective Facebook Wall Posts: A Statistical Review

This lives by my right hand, and goes with me on out of town trips. I have seen a marked improvement in posts since applying these findings to my own posts.

2. comScore’s The Power of Like: How Brands Reach and Influence Fans Through Social Media Marketing

If you are wondering what the value of a Facebook friend is, wonder no more. This data is astounding, and comes with the heft of the comSco

re brand. Execs love it.

3. ExactTarget’s series “Subscribers, Fans & Followers”

This series does a brilliant job of drawing ties between email, Facebook and Twitter. I have some of the slides taped up on my reference wall for people to browse when they are waiting for me to finish a meeting.

Is there a white paper or resource you wouldn’t be able to live without? Post it in the comments!

Cheers,
Rebekah
